BAS processes your personal data when you use our services and/or when you provide them to us.
Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:

Special and/or sensitive personal information we processs.
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect information about customers who are under 16 years of age unless they have permission from parents or guardian. However, we cannot verify that a visitor is older than 16. We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities to prevent the collection of information about children without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal information about a minor without that permission, please contact us at info@bas-statenkwartier.nl, we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal information.
BAS processes your personal data only for sending our newsletter.
Automated decision making.
In case of automated processing of data, decisions can be taken by computer programs or systems without a human being (for example, an employee of BAS) sitting between them. BAS does not use automated processing to decide on matters which may (significantly) affect persons. BAS uses the following computer programs or systems: Email Subscriber plugin for WordPress.
How long we will keep personal information
BAS does not retain your personal information for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals for which your data is collected. We have the following retention periods for the personal data stored:
Your details – first name, last name and email address – are automatically and immediately deleted when you cancel the newsletter subscription.
Sharing personal information with third parties.
BAS will not sell your data to third parties and only provide third parties with personal information if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on behalf of us, we close an agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. BAS remains responsible for the processing of these data.
Cookies, or similar techniques, which we use.
BAS only uses technical and functional cookies, and analytical cookies that don’t infringe upon your privacy. A cookie is a small text file which the browsed website sends you and stores on your computer or mobile device. The cookies we use are necessary for the technical functioning of the website and your user convenience. They ensure that the website functions properly and for example remember your preferred settings. Also, this way we can optimize our website. You can turn off cookies by setting your web browser to block cookies. Also through the settings of your browser, you can delete all information that was already stored in cookies.
View, modify, or delete data.
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal information. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by BAS and you have the right to data transfer. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have in a computer file to you or another organization you mention.
You may send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for revocation of your consent or request for review of the processing of your personal data to info@bas-statenkwartier.nl.
To ensure that the request for review has been made by you, please enclose a copy of your identification document with the request. In this copy, make your passport photo, the MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and social security number (BSN) black. This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but within four weeks.
